The client will only show the stream that is associated with the parcel 
you currently occupy. If you have the same media texture for all 
parcels, it will show on every prim with that texture - so a region 
split into 20 parcels, each with identical screens but different media 
streams, would show 20 identical streams - one per screen - changing all 
of them as you move from parcel to parcel.
