Sorry to say, but *my* only conclusion is you don't know what you're
talking about. Linux and OpenSim go together great.

Linux is terrible with opensim, in the years it got worse and worse to
get ,ono correctly compiled.
Then linux did not support the hardware right or mono got nuts on the
hardware, never figured out why.
But with opensim you can better not use linux.
