Well, depends on your kind of setup, which you haven't stated anything
about yet.
If your region is in a grid with central asset, like e.g. Osgrid, you of
course still need so make OARs and such, since the assets are not under
your control.
If your region uses an own database for all (Sqlite/Mysql), just make
backups of that database on a regular base and you are set. A nice
script for MySQL with builtin rotation would be Automysqlbackup -
