I think Garmin may well be right about the bent legs issue.
However, the popping up is probably an ODE physics issue. ODE surrounds each avatar with an invisible capsule as a simple approximation for physics purposes. I can imagine this if many avatars in a small space one of these capsules might get squeezed up so it rests on top of the others.

Folks, I've got a silly question. Perhaps someone knows the simple (or better still complex) answer. Why, when a group of avatars all crowd into the corner of a room and push each other "hard," do some of the avatars pop up and 1) stand on each other's shoulders? And, 2) why do the avatars that jumped up in this uncontrolled way have their legs bend up like "hair pins" or "paper clips?" The pushing *IS MANDATORY* but the popping-up is "ANNOYING*. The bent legs seems like a bug. Thanks, Chris _______________________________________________ Opensim-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/opensim-users
