Aw good question, Inu... I have no experience in running multiple sims on a 
standalone configuration. In my limited knowledge, "standalone" meant "single 
sim on my computer".

I think that there is no way to run multiple instances in standalone mode, 
since to the best of my knowledge, all communication between instances happens 
through grid services, but I might be wrong.
