I confess I'm still less than confident about lack of
integration/synchronization with our "normal" video software on
Solaris. I fear that this software may become a virtual "orphan" -- a
nice API that nobody actually uses.
That said, I don't know that this concern is significant enough to
warrant holding the case any further. Maybe once this is integrated
someone will try to figure out how to make it work with
totem/xine/gstreamer.
