Uhm... this sounds like "company thinking", e.g. "...we only do what we're paid for and won't do anything else (even if it's nice/usefull) until someone throws money after us..." (erm, that's not thought as offense...) ... ;-( ... IMO it would be nice to take a small look beyond the rim of the teacup (or how the german phrase "... Über den Tellerrand schauen..." can be translated...) and check what else may be "nice" to support... that's why I am asking whether there are other things we may want to fix with this bug, too (that would save trouble for people who may be interested in other version control software). > I don't know if the upstream Perl > maintainers would be interested.
