We were unable to port two products to Solaris because Sun only implemented the minimum number required by POSIX (8) that Sun marketing can add the 'certified POSIX-conformant' sticker. Amersham has filed RFEs to increase the number of realtime signals in Solaris to 48 in 1998, 2003 and 2006 (as GE Healthcare after the acquisition).
