I recall seeing (or hearing) a similar low pitch and latency problem with
Flash audio on snv_132 or 133 with audiohd (Realtek ALC268) using the
imo.im client for Skype, but it didn't seem to happen consistently.
The problem seems to be independent from the Solaris release.
It happens on build 63 on an old IBM laptop (without hd-audio)
and it happens on build 128 with hd-audio.
That makes it sound like not a Solaris bug, but possibly a bug in the
application's support for Solaris. Can you build it to use OSS instead
of Sun audio? Their OSS support may be more robust than their legacy
Sun api support.
