To avoid reinvent the wheel (PMS). Please spare us (at least me ;)to learn yet another PMS. SVR4(ie,pkgadd) PMS is not up to modern PMS architecture. so either wait for its opensource to enhance the missing feature or use TWW HPMS that already fill the missing features for us. missing features - auto installation of depended packages. - application depot - xml pacakge source to encapture package creation process - ....
