They are, but Sun can't just make things available as OpenSolaris, especially in the case where the code is not theirs. > GA = ? Ultra1, no, Sun had to make some decisions on what hardware they would support and it was determined that the Ultra1/2 were too old to continue support for. The Ultra5 will run it fine though. I would never argue against a faster system. Why not install S10 GA on there, which most likely ships on it, and then do a -I (Cap-Eye) install to put an additional kernel on there.
