One thing that I have been looking at is the creation of a GUI for
pkg-get. The user base is split into three groups it seems; Windows
users that want to click there way through everything, UNIX users that
will use the command line with comfort and then Jedi-Master level
people that can create their own OpenSolaris distro and package
system. I think that embracing the first group with the help of the
second group is a good approach. Let's all just keep the last group
from getting annoyed with us while we do it :-)

In any case .. a simple GUI is required and I am looking at the JDK
for this. Rec 1.1.8 actually. Because I know that anything written
with that will work on Solaris 8 upwards. It just won't swing.
