The Solaris 10 install/upgrade document has little information about upgrade with none-global zones. I apprecitiate if anyone can provide me some information
I am going to upgrade a Spar Solaris 10 0305 to 0106 - the reason to upgrade is that we have about 10 zones and a lot information to keep, zones on different file systems, and all file systems are created on meta devices (Sun Solaris Volume Manager), and some of them are mirrors, some soft partitions. I am very curious to kwon if the solaris 10 can be clever enough to handle it. The Solaris 10 doc mentioned that the upgrade has to be preformed by DVD or Network based (also created by DVD) for OS with zones. For OS on hard partitions, the upgrade seems not able to maintian the same structure or you have to simulate by manual edit (by the doc).
