I'll second that, imho yast is a painful way to interact with a system. 
admittedly i only gave it 3 or 4 weeks before it went to the bitbucket but it 
is too abstract from the reality of what is going on to be useful - funny that 
the simplest/easiest linux distro i ever used is slackware.
