Sadly, this is a hugely complex problem and I don't expect any solution in the near future. What would be of immediate use and would be quite simple to generate is a set of HOWTO documents that covered the basics. There are some on SunSolve and BigAdmin but many more are needed. I know that there would be some duplication with the man pages and official documents on docs.sun.com but there is a huge difference between reference documentation and practical guides.
