Well DVD-R and DVD-RW yes. Totally. On media that is either 120mm or 80mm just fine. But not DVD+RW or DVD+R . > Cdrecord allows you to reate dual/double-layer media in case that > don't care about the position of the layer break. Layer break ? Is that how dual layer works ? One needs to make two large ISO-9660 files and burn them or is there even a filesystem spec for the new blue laser larger capacity DVD media ? I would really like to burn some larger media formats. >> In the interim do you mind if I build and package up the latest revision >> of >> star for CSWstar such that we have all the new features that you have >> built >> in the past year ? Ah yes .. I remember this discussion clearly and I will need to research the mail lists to get the details. I think at this point we need to diverge the star offering in CSWstar to Solaris 8 and 9 compatible and then a separate kit for Solaris 10 and Nevada. These last two need to be built on Solaris 10 with ZFS support and with the ACL issue in ZFS addressed. Somehow. > Do you believe that you may to this too? I will try to build the latest star on Solaris 8 and 9.
