Also, I've found that Parallels reset and Solaris don't get along very well.
Many times using reset fails to produce a boot. But if I stop the VM and then start it I get a boot. My theory is that there is some RAM that GRUB needs to be zero'd and reset doesn't zero the RAM. But by stopping and then starting the VM I get freshly zero'd RAM straight from the Mac kernel. Once I started doing this I've had no boot failures with 06/06.
