Sun may have more OpenSolaris engineers than anyone out there, and many
of those guys are clearly world class developers. No question. But that
doesn't mean Sun has the "best" people regarding OpenSolaris. I've come
to know many non-Sun community members over these last three years who
are remarkably talented in a variety of areas, so let's give them some
credit here as well. This effort is not all Sun. I'm saying this to
point to opportunities that *you* may have. That's why we opened the
system in the first place -- to build a community so we could engage new
people in new areas with new ideas. Sun can't build a community alone.
The building of the community is itself a community effort.
