I can vouch for this. I am the epitome of a newbie; I haven't really
coded any C since college over a decade ago. I started out this way and
have about half a dozen putbacks so far.
I do wish some more "interesting" bugs would show up on oss_bite_size
though. The list seems to be stagnating and people seem to be moving
off to just pulling things out of the bug database directly.
