see, the box doesn't have network connectivity :-) Is that sufficient?
According to the PCI ID database at http://pciids.sf.net/
that means your nic is a
82566DC Gigabit Network Connection
which should just work with the e1000g driver. Run these
commands and see how things go:
# update_drv -a -i ' "pci8086,104b" ' e1000g
# ifconfig e1000g0 plumb
