Hi Boris,
The short answer to your question is, I think, no.
It appears that ICH8R support is currently a gap. There are
at least two CRs filed for it:
6491508 and
6532763
which I hope will be addressed shortly. I don't know which
of Sun's teams is working on chipset support though.
