The tools in /usr/xpg4/bin are optional. We did a survey in 2005 what
customers have installed on their systems. The SUNWxcu4 package is
missing on more than 38% of the tested installations. On machines with
eight or more CPUs even 61% miss the SUNWxcu4 package. Furthermore
installing the package later requires to redeploy the patch packages
for SUNWxcu4 which is rarely done.

Conclusion: The tools in /usr/xpg4/bin have some academic value but
they are virtually useless for commercial products.
