I used to do it that way too, s1 swap, but starting at cyl 0. Although over 
time I figured it doesn't make much difference one way or the other.

It would be interesting to know which Solaris 9 you hit that issue with 
mirroring and track 0. I've had Solaris 9 for the longest time with s0 being / 
and containing track 0 and mirrored and never hit that problem.
