PCFS (FAT16) is used for all memory cards in cameras up to 2 GB.
FAT 32 is used above. There are a lot more similar appliances that use the PC 
filesystem.

The problem is that pcfs is important for the desktop usage of Solaris
but not for the majority of the paying customers. On the other side, Solaris on 
the desktop is what makes Solaris known and what's needed to keep the larger 
customers.
