Unfortunately the press releases on www.sun.com do not seem to go back far 
enough. 
Luckily Microsoft's do....

Below is a quote from the press release -
    "Sun and Microsoft have agreed to pay royalties for use of each other's 
technology"

Do you have a reference to the "Sun own marketing dept. bragging"? The 
Microsoft PR is the same as what I thought was on www.sun.com at the time.
