Although this is true, Sun employes are usually seen as extension of the Sun 
headquarter.

The Sun headquarter declared Solaris 9 x86 dead in January 2002. Without 
the efforts of the Solaris community outside Sun, 2/3 of the current Solaris
installations would not exist now.

The problem is not the friendly people inside Sun, but the decisions inside Sun 
that are made without the community.
