First, ZFS is not only available at OpenSolaris, you can find it too at
FreeBSD, NetBSD, Mac OS X and event Linux through FUSE.
Second, this is a perfectly moment for the project ZFS grow. Many people are
dissatisfied with their Ext3 or event Ext4 filesystems (like me) and they
have doubts about the future of ReiserFS.
Would be great see ZFS, a great filesystem, spread to people use and take
advantage of its features. But, to implement ZFS in the Linux kernel CDDL
and GPL would need be compatibleor ZFS change it license for a compatible
one.

I'm anxious to see what will happen. :-)
