I think yes I can do a boot cdrom -s and configure network interface
(maybe using ifconfig bge0 dhcp) and then download it to /a .. The
reason why I want to do this is that we have no OS installed on the
system and we wanted to upgrade OBP

Thanks for all the answers. My system is a v210/v240. Dale Ghent told
that (in the previous email of this thread) we can update using
SC/ALOM. I have found out an article depicts how to update flash using
network http://www.smtps.net/netboot_flash_obp.html

I think PROM flash update is the following file right?

bash-3.00# pwd
/var/tmp/121683-05
bash-3.00# ls -1
802-3233-25.ps
817-6957-10.pdf
copyright
flash-update-SunFire240 <!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ?????
Install.info
LEGAL_LICENSE.TXT
README.121683-05
unix.flash-update.README
unix.flash-update.SunFire240.sh

I mean if I had a Solaris installed on the system I can use
unix.flash-update.SunFire240.sh but If I don't have Solaris installed
or If I had no disk on the system I can use flash-update-SunFire240
file (by putting it on a tftp server) to upgrade OBP ?

Regards.
