Thank you for chiming in. I did not answer to him directly as I am not 
interested 
in a flame war. John seems to be uninformed about me and about Fraunhofer in 
general.
Fraunhofer has ~ 10000 employees in ~ 60 institutes. The goals of the institutes
include wood technology (e.g. injecting the wood of a mercedes car dashboard 
like plastics), explisive technology, washable silicon chips for you clothes, 
life sciennces and much more. Why does he pretend that there is a relation to 
this 
topic if he is not just serving his prejudices?

I did personally read the agreement and I found two time bombs that I like to 
be 
fixed before I am going to sign it because I have a more wide spread commitment 
with my contributions than the majority of the involved people. Because of my 
more wide spread commitment, I am affected by the named time bombs.

I hope that this problem can be solved, but the original topic of this thead was
GNU utils vs. Solaris utils. I lilke to stay on topic.
