-H -L -P are Options defined by POSIX.2-1001 In general, it makes sense to act similar to the POSIX standardization process. Options from other implementations are first checked and discussed for their significance and importance. Under these constraints, a GNU find option -mmin has no chance as there is a much better way to specify times in a sub-day maner as found in e.g. sfind and BSD find.
