Wrong. Sun has a license with Sleepycat/Oracle for commercial support
and distribution of Berkeley DB. I don't know if that's why you're not
finding it or not, just that it's not as simple as most software licenses.
The Open Source edition of Berkeley DB isn't BSD licensed anymore either -
if you read the license, you'll see while it looks BSD-like, there's a GPL
style clause in there now:
* 3. Redistributions in any form must be accompanied by information on
* how to obtain complete source code for the DB software and any
* accompanying software that uses the DB software.
