But the OpenSolaris distro does redistribute, and in any case, the producer of
the OpenSolaris distro (Sun), is not bound by the license quoted above, but by
the commercial license Sun signed with Sleepycat. Quoting the above text was
just showing that even if Sun didn't have that license, Berkeley DB is no longer
covered by a simple BSD style license as the original poster suggested.
