Especially since most developers long since left opensolaris-discuss
in frustration over the pure noise and flame level here.

We really have no way to know.

For the enterprise, the transition planned is S10 -> "Solaris Next,
an enterprise OS based on OpenSolaris" (if you want to abbreviate that
S11, I can't blame you) - a lot of the feature roadmap, especially around
things like OS installation, was presented in the OpenSolaris Town Hall
calls held with the community last year. Unfortunately, between the
genunix wiki being down and the reorg of the OpenSolaris web site, I
can't find any pointers to them right now.

As for a timeline - when you find out what that is, let us know, we're
dying to find out.
