new problem for the developers I think.
1. OS 2010.03 developer, has an install problem. Goes into a continuous loop.
there is a temp work around , edit the kernel line, from graphics to text
in the
    grub.
2. to make a permanent change must edit the /rpool/boot/grub/menu.lst
    (I think that was it).
But now another problem. It is read only!!
I go to the user groups tools.
Change my status to sysadmin and apply password or go to super user and change
password. The changes won't take, keeps reverting to the default setting.
3. Try to log out. Click log out, click switch user, won't let me log in as
anything else,
So I back up and log out and select log out now. This crashes the system!
everytime.
So I reboot and re-edit the grub. so I can boot up.
Recheck the super user and my self, My changes have reverted to default.
So how in the heck do I edit the file to make it permanent and why do the
changes I make in user groups NOT stay and what is the default password for
super user?
thanks
