[osol-help] SATA related trouble while installing opensolaris

I have installed linux using this SATA dvd drive. I unfortunately dont have 
access to a IDE DVD drive. I do have a USB stick but am unaware about how to 
install opensolaris using a USB stick without having an existing opensolaris 
install.
