[osol-help] Urgent: OpenSolaris as a file server

No The windows network isn't a part of any Active directory or better said a 
domain, all the machines are in workgroup.. but is it possible that i create 
users in opensolaris and when the user as said for e.g. foo clicks on the 
folder(shared folder i.e. shared on opensolaris) is asked for the opensolaris 
username and password to access it.
