Okay ... so the problem I'm having now is that last night I was trying to reinstall the AMP stack to hopefully fix the problem. I was removing the amp package and re-installing it through the package manager, but it wasn't changing anything.
So I deleted the httpd.conf file in the hope that it would detect it was gone and re-install it. Unfortunately that's not happened and my httpd.conf file is no more. In retrospect it was a silly idea, I should have just renamed it. But it's too late now and I can't figure out at all how to re-isntall apache. I've removed and reinstalled the package several times but it doesn't seem to be doing anything at all. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
