Hello, I am a first time OpenSolaris user, I just installed today 2009.6 and so far I am really liking it. Its fast, responsive and elegant. My first hurdle though is that I have absolutely zero audio.
I have browsed the forum and google but have yet to find a solution. In the "Device Driver Utility" it seems to recognize my audio, beside audio and under device it says, "nVidia Corporation MCP55 High Definition Audio", and beside that and under driver it states, "audiohd". My audio is onboard and my motherboard is an Asus M2N-E. Also flash does not seem to be working, I can't play video's on youtube and my Firefox version is ancient, 3.1b3. Any help to resolve these issues would be greatly appreciated. I am a new convert coming from OS X/Windows although I have a tiny bit expirience with Ubuntu/Mint so laymans terms please lol :P -Thanks -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
