MCP55 hdaudio works for me, both before and after boomer. Initially there was an issue with the AD1988B hdaudio codec on my ASUS M2N-SLI deluxe mainboard after boomer was integrated, but that has been fixed by now: % mixerctl Device: /dev/sound/audiohd:0mixer Name = audiohd#0 Config = NVIDIA HD Audio (MCP55) HW Info = Analog Devices HD codec: AD1988B % uname -a SunOS moritz 5.11 snv_123_jk i86pc i386 i86pc What hdaudio codec is attached to the MCP55 device on your system?
