Hello again, OK first I figured out the disk issue ... I had to flip the switch on the way back machine and remember my Ultra60 and Solaris 9 ... Thank GOD the brain still works..
OK when I said Winblows XP I ment running Winblows in a virtual area. I mean 4 years ago when I was force to leave Sun (layoff) they were working on virtual systems in the same OS Solaris 10 wasn't out but it was about ready ... So fast forward ... I want to run Windows XP as a virtual client on the same box in my case it's a AMD X2 Opteron 2.7g now has 1 gb of memory but could be increased... I want to run Unix and windows from the same box ... This sounds like a better solution then the old SunPCI card I have in my Ultra 60 ... BTY (By the way) I beta tested that card when it only ran Windows 98se.. So for me to run Windows so I need Using "virt-install to Install a Domain" how do I download that ??? nstant Windows?Recipe for Running Windows as a Guest on Solaris xVM <-- and the instructions tells me to install virt-install http://opensolaris.org/os/community/xen/docs/virtinstall/ OK .. so where is virt-install?? Wow nothing has changed in 4 plus years you need to ask a forum for help ... but's that's OK -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
