What if that doesn't work? I've tried that a few times (just did it once more for good measure) with no luck. Windows sees the NIC, and it thinks a cable is attached, but it is not able to get an IP (DHCP). I normally use static on this subnet so I've set the IP as well, and it is still unable to work with it.
