If it boots up on anything else (vmware or physical hardware) then it's
not necessarily a bad burn.  It's more likely a problem with the
hardware you're trying to install it on having an issue reading the cd
properly.

You could try different media (from a different manufacturer/batch),
burn at the slowest speed supported by your media, etc.
