I would like to add one more data point, if I may. When I open "Join Unlisted Wireless Network...", I have the option to enter a ESSID, but the Password, and Confirm Password are greyed-out. I can not provide the password.
But, I happen to have 2 wireless networks available to me, and the other one is not password protected. So I tried that. Still, entering the proper ESSID gets me nowhere (says something like "Failed to initiate connection to wireless network"). But I thought I would point out that I have no option to enter a password for that first network where a password is required. So whether a password-protected wireless network, or an unprotected one, I can not connect. Thanks, Rob -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
