Hi,

Just bought a couple of HP DL180s. Config is thus: HP DL180, 2x quad core Xeon,
2.5GHz, 8Gb RAM, e200 array controller+128Mb bbwc, 8x 500Gb 7200rpm drives,
cpqary3 v 1.91 drivers, Sol10 u5. It seems that regardless of config (I've
tried 6 drive RAID10 hardware Logical disk with ufs and zfs, single disk
logical drives in a zfs pool/raidz, RAID5 hardware logical drive, played with
maxphys system settings etc) I can never get more than 40MB/s throughput from
the disk subsystem. AFAIK there are no direct tunables for the cpqary3 driver
that might help so that leaves either sd driver or possibly something in
/etc/system. Anyone got any suggestions as to where I might apply my efforts?

TIA

Joe
