Which graphics chipset/card is in this system? Which OpenSolaris release are you trying 2008.05 or one of the 2008.11 release candidates? Are there any errors in /var/log/Xorg.0.log ? (There is no text mode installer yet for OpenSolaris - you could enable ssh, ssh in and remote display the installer, or enable Xvnc and connect with a VNC client to display the installer remotely.) -Alan Coopersmith- alan.coopersmith at sun.com Sun Microsystems, Inc. - X Window System Engineering Dermot wrote: > Hi, > I am new to OS.
