I have a thinkpad x30 with an integrated intel 830 graphics chipset. The xorg driver shipped with the livecd fails to load a useable configuration. On linux there are two xorg drivers, i810 and intel. I need to blacklist the i810 driver and use the intel driver, but that is with version 7.4 of xorg. I believe that the intel driver shipped with xorg-6.9 on linux had a number of bugs as well.
Are there any suggestions on how to get around the issue and get a working xorg from the livecd? I would like to test certain aspects prior to installation. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
