Okay, I could not save the log because i'm on a livecd and have no internet access.
I see in the Xorg.0.log: ... NVIDIA Unified... falling back to old method for VESA probe. primary device is not PCI Fatal server error No screens found In the xorg.vesa file it says vesa as driver, so its trying to use the vesa driver.
