Nobody cares to reply on this fact? I have been puzzled about the statement that smartmontools do not support ata or sata disks since I found a bunch of ppl on the net giving logs of smartctl clearly stating it is a sata disk.
So what is the deal? Smartmontools only support sata addon cards? and not the onboard sata controllers? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
