I have installed latest OpenSolaris on my KN9 SLI motherboard. It has nVidia MCP55 Ethernet card. Driver was automatically installed (checked it, it reads "attached"), but whichever way I configure it (dhcp or static IP) when I go to check the "Network Interface Priorities" it reads "nve0 - dissabled". I am new to Open Solaris, have some Linux experience and more Windows...I would just like to connect to internet, then I will continue learning about the system.
I have tried both "automatic" and manual network configuration - no results. Do I have to "mount" anything? I will really appreciate help with this, as I may have to partition the drive and install something else in order to get to the internet...and then research further how to resolve this puzzle.
