Thanks for the help. I downloaded the SXDE DVD image and setup a VMware
machine. I gave it 8.5Gb pre-allocated disk space and 768 MB RAM. I will admit,
this RAM is probably a bit excessive, but it's what Solaris wanted for the
graphical install.
This is just not going to work in VMware. The Solaris machine, while installed
and running, is horribly slow.
It'll probably be a few weeks before I have the spare cash to go out and buy a
USB drive - I just had a bunch of SCSI disks s**t on me, and ULTRA3 15k disks
are a bit on the expensive side.
